Key Features
Product Ref: 111759
The Mesa Boogie Rosette is designed to give you complete control over the sound of your acoustic guitar or acoustic instrument. The preamp features a 4-band EQ with active controls to provide up to +/- 12dB of boost/cut on each frequency band. To extend the level of control even further, the Rosette has a variable mid frequency adjustment control along with Notch and Hi-Pass filters to dial in the perfect sound for your instrument.
A tuner output lets you tune up silently when used in combination with the Mute footswitch, while the built-in FX loop lets you connect your own FX pedals - perfect for live performances. The FX Send is taken from after the preamp circuit, after which the signal returns fully-buffered to send to the Master level. This FX loop is ideal for time-based effects such as delays and reverbs.
Two footswitches give you remote control over the Rosette's Boost level and Mute, providing two extremely useful functions for live performance - ideal for silent tuning, instrument changing, breaks between songs and more.
The XLR and 1/4'' jack preamp outputs are provided to let you capture the sound of the entire preamp to send a signal to a mixing desk, recording device, or stage monitor. Both signals are set at Line Level, with the XLR output being balanced and the jack output providing an unbalanced signal. These outputs are perfect for studio and live sound.
The second XLR output on the Rosette is a DI output. This can be switched from Pre/Post EQ, letting you capture the sound of the preamp or the direct sound of your acoustic guitar without any colouration. This output expands the connection capability of the Rosette and is a handy addition for both live performance and studio applications.
The Rosette can run on a standard 9V DC power supply and requires only 45mA so is pedalboard friendly. The Rosette can also accept a 9V battery, making it ideal for portable setups. In the event of AC power failure, the power will automatically route to the battery.
