Charlie Parker, or "Yardbird", is an American jazz icon. He grew up listening to back-alley jazz jams in Kansas and from here honed a passion for the genre. Acclaimed as one of the most influential jazz soloists, he lead the way into bebop jazz. Famous for songs such as "Parker's Mood" and "Now's The Time", was considered the greatest jazz saxophonist in the world.
