The G6196T-59GE is constructed with a hollow chamber using laminated maple and offers crisp overtones while enhancing the overall resonance of the guitar. In addition, its hollow chamber offers a lightweight design that can be played all night long, making it the perfect choice for performers who gig frequently.
Comfortable Neck Profile
As well as as offering a comfortable body shape, the G6196T-59GE also features a standard “U”-shaped maple neck which bears a 12”-radius for the ultimate comfort. In addition, a rosewood fingerboard with 22 medium jumbo frets delivers a memorable playing experience that works with any fret-hand style.
TV Jones Classic Pickups
Equipped with a pair of TV Jones Classic pickups, the Gretsch G6196T-59GE delivers the iconic vintage twang and growl of a late 1950’s, and early 1960’s vintage Filter’Tron pickup. This versatile duo of classic pickups is a perfect choice for blues, rockabilly and country players.
Bigsby B6GVT Vibrato Tailpiece
