Guitar gear on-the-go
A huge arsenal of amps packed into a compact stomp. The IR-2's staggering 11 amp characters cover everything from sparkling clean British combos to screaming, high-gain stacks. And with the addition of an impressive 9 Celestion Digital IRs (including both classic and modern options), you'll be able to nail those tones that have been evading you all these years. It's ideal for any travelling guitarist - just plug into your chosen destination's PA system or mixing console and you're game on!
The Boss IR-2 puts an end to the nightmare of inconsistent backline setups. Your tones will always sound just as they should - your tones. So whether you're heading out for a gig, session, or jamming with friends, know that your trusty pedal is going to make sure you get heard in the best way possible.
Unlimited possibilities
You're not restricted to Celestion IRs - if you've got your ideal digital speaker setup nailed down already, then you can simply load it in via the USB-C interface and dedicated app.
Shape your sound with ease
The Boss IR-2 Amp Simulator and Impulse Response Loader offers the freedom of immediate sound creation. Equipped with an intuitive interface, initiating play is a matter of seconds. All you need to do is select your preferred amp type and fine-tune the sound using traditional amp-style controls.
To add an element of roominess and depth to your output, the Ambience knob allows for slight adjustment. The compatibility of the IR-2 extends to other pedals, which can be directly plugged into its input, similar to any conventional amp. To elevate your sonic experience, the send/return loop lets you incorporate modulation, delay, and reverb effects post the amp sounds. Plus, the TRS return jack supports stereo functionality, thereby facilitating the passage of stereo effects to the IR-2’s audio outputs.
Covered for any performance scenarion
Whether you're practicing, performing, or recording, the IR-2 is your ideal partner for powering your sound. With its versatile and comprehensive connectivity options, you're guaranteed to have a seamless experience in any performance scenario. Its compact size also makes it easy to transport and integrate into any setup, giving you the freedom to focus on your music without worrying about technical difficulties.
