It started with a kiss... Or at least it did for Danelectro! Famously manufactured using surplus lipstick tubes bought from cosmetics suppliers, these humbuckers have found their own unique style and sound in the guitar hall of fame. The 59XT proudly displays a Lipstick humbucker in the bridge position, boasting incredible crunch when run together. Excellent for attacking vintage songs or innovating with a bluesy crunch, they produce textures that you'll love. It doesn't stop there, however, they can also be coil split to instantly thin-out the sound, so you delve into the sanppy territory of funk and jazz.
For even more dynamics, there's a large housing single coil at the neck position. Tonally it sits between a single coil and full-on humbucker, and its neck location awards it oodles of detailed bass. Pick a genre or style, the 59XT will thrive however you play.
