With a solid spruce top and classic cutaway shape the Hartwood Prime cutaway acoustic guitar gives a well-rounded and versatile tone. With the ability to produce a big sound for strummed chords, as well as a delicate, sweet tone when finger picking, the Hartwood prime is a versatile instrument suitable for any style. The Hartwood Prime range offers quality construction matched with carefully selected high grade materials. The most important part of any acoustic instrument is the top, this is part that resonates and amplifies the vibration of the strings, choosing an A grade solid spruce has been done to make sure the guitar doesn't lack any key frequencies.

Exotic wood neck with improved playability

Constructed from Okoume, the Prime's neck offers a quick and dynamic response. Okoume is similar to nato and mahogany woods, that are known for being strong and resistant to moisture. The reliability of this tonewood is also matched with a resonant tone, making it a worthy addition to the Hartwood range. Furthermore, the neck is topped with a poplar laminate fingerboard, ensuring a smooth and stable surface great for all playing styles.

The Hartwood Prime Dreadnought Electro Acoustic Guitar, Natural features the Hartwood EQ-3T pickup, which includes a built-in tuner, as well as including bass, middle and treble adjustment for a truly versatile and great sounding pick up. The low battery indicator alerts you to when the battery needs changing so you are never caught unaware, as well as offering a phase button, allowing you to reverse the phase and make sure this guitar will always sound good in the studio, an ideal guitar for a learner or back up for a seasoned player.

The 6.5 inch speaker produces a range of detailed sounds with clarity. This means you get a faithful, natural sound. Just clean amplification, so you hear the true tones produced by your guitar.

Customise your sound. The 3-band equalizer allows you to adjust the bass, middle and high frequencies. There's also a chorus control to add stylistic effects to your sound. You can easily adjust how much chorus effect is applied by using the control knob.

The headphone output even allows you to practise without the speaker. You'll hear the full sound of your guitar's pickups and be able to practise applying effects and EQ settings. All without disturbing your neighbours. You can even practise and perform with backing tracks. Just connect your smartphone, media player or CD player to the Aux input.
