If you want to eliminate the gate from the calculation, there?s a stomp switch for that. If you want to bypass the entire loop of pedals instantly, there's a stomp switch for that too. The release time is completely adjustable from downright slamming to extremely long and lovely, like the most beautiful fadeout achieved by a professional engineer.

The Loop Gate looks at your guitar signal to work out when to gate, so you can trigger the gate when you mute the strings on your guitar. The built-in 'chop' function pulses the gate, switching it on and off at regular intervals for interesting rhythmic effects. This 'chop' function can activate from your guitar's signal, so you can reset your chops every time you play. It won't open again until the same period of silence has elapsed, so you can get a very stimulating result by letting your guitar sustain, where the loop gate opens and releases a blast of sound in a recurring pattern.

Controls:

• Normal/Chop Toggle: Triggers from your guitar signal, and regularly gates your effects for interesting patterns.
• Release Dial: The rate at which the gate switches off - ideal for ambient slow fades or Wah effects.
• Sensitivity Dial: Adjust how much the Loop Gate looks at your signal to work out when to gate.
• Bypass Stomp Button: True bypass for easy effects switching.
• Gate Stomp Button: Manually control the gate effect.
