The Death By Audio Soundwave Breakdown provides you with a loud, gnarly and overall insane fuzz effect. The Soundwave Breakdown is equipped with 3 controls, including Square Wave, Sine Wave and Volume knobs. One of the controls is for adjusting the bias of the transistor, whereas the other is for controlling the filtering; this lets you take versatile control over the fuzz effect and sound waves. The reverse matched transistors help to create the 'bombastic' and totally decimated fuzz of the Soundwave Breakdown. This pedal can provide you with a variety of dynamic tones ranging from fuzz and distortion to bleeps and synth sounds. The Soundwave Breakdown has a psycho, gnarly fuzz that works incredibly well for heavy music styles.

About Death By Audio

Death By Audio are a boutique effects pedal company that are based in Brooklyn, New York. It was founded by Oliver Ackermann who is the guitarist and vocalist of A Place to Bury Strangers; who have released 4 studio albums to date. He started Death By Audio in 2001, and has since gone on to design and hand-make boutique guitar pedals that are built using rugged, durable and high quality materials. Over the years, Death By Audio have provided custom equipment for bands including U2 and Nine Inch Nails and Lightning Bolt. The location where the pedals were made, was also used as a live music venue as well as a recording studio.
