Taking inspiration from a range of traditional Fender Stratocasters the Robert Cray Stratocaster incorporates a range of vintage style components such as the vintage style machine heads, truss rod, neck plate and '60s C neck profile. These traditional features allow a vintage feel and playability to the Robert Cray Stratocaster whilst the vintage style single coil pickups provide an authentic vintage tone.
The Robert Cray Stratocaster incorporates a string-thru body construction to provide improved tonality and sustain by transferring vibrations and resonance from the string to the body as it goes over the vintage hardtail bridge and passes through the body.
