View Full DescriptionLaunched as an exclusive series in 2005 with a global limitation of only 670 units, the 'Historic Collection' J-45 paved the way for what is now known as the 'True Vintage Series'. This series faithfully reproduces the original design specifications, featuring a AA Sitka spruce top paired with solid mahogany for the back and sides. The guitar boasts a one-piece mahogany neck, designed with a medium C-shaped profile, rolled fretboard edges, and subtle shoulders for a comfortable playing experience. It is equipped with a generous rosewood fretboard, adorned with vintage-style fret wire, and a silk-screened gold Gibson logo. The hardware includes stock Kluson-style nickel tuners with white buttons and a Nitro-Cellulose finish. It comes factory-fitted with an active Fishman pickup, enhancing its versatility and performance capabilities.
