They Keeley Red Dirt mini Overdrive is the smaller version of the Red Dirt Overdrive, but features 4 modes of distortion. The pedal has a specially designed FET input stage for an overdrive that breaks up in new way, offering genuine tube-like style tone. The red dirt combines the Keeley mod plus and baked pedals modifications to produce a dynamic overdrive that can cut though any dense mix. Although the Red Dirt mini is small in size, it still possesses incredible tones and a whole variety of different distortions.

Dynamic Overdrive Tones

The Red Dirt pedal features an RC4558P op-amp with a Keeley designed FET input stage and is then refined to produce incredible tones. The FET produces an overdrive that can make leads sing and rhythm sections dynamic and expressive, giving the pedal an incredibly crisp overdrive that can cut through any dense mix. The mini features a set of internal DIP switches configure the bass line tone to produce four different overdrive tones; distortion, overdrive, crunch, and amp. The different settings change the clipping diodes to create either a compressed sound, or an open tube-amp-like sound.
