By combining the growl section of the Bass Octave Deluxe with an revered fuzz circuit, the MXR Sub Octave Bass Fuzz delivers explosive low end with earth-shaking fuzz. This combination can be tailored to perfection with three separate output levels for fuzz, sub octave, and dry signals for ultimate flexibility generating subterranean tones. The two switchable fuzz voices allow you to radically alter the tone: from warm and saturated thickness, to bright, more aggressive, wild fuzz. These are easily tweaked using the fuzz's 2-band EQ control section.
With fuzz tone perfected, make sure you retain all the natural dry signal you'd like. This is remarkably straightforward with the dedicated level control.
