The Nazgul is originally designed for 7 and 8 string guitars. It features a large ceramic magnet with custom winding, the large magnet helps produce a deep and aggressive tone. The main goal of the Nazgul was to create a flawless modern heavy metal pick up that keeps its clarity under high gain for instruments with extended range. Seymour Duncan achieved this goal and made a seamless blend of great pick attack and articulation whilst yielding a brutal chug that will blow away audiences and peers. No matter which frequency range, the humbucker will showcase amazing harmonics as well as an extremely tight bass response. The Nazgul is a wild sounding pick up due to its aggressive gain however it is still completely controllable.
