Visual sequencing that keeps you in control

Razzmatazz makes it easy to create and edit drum patterns using its full-view visual sequencer. You can see all 8 drum pads across 16 steps in one view. This speeds up your workflow by letting you edit rhythms on the fly without switching between lanes. You can also build longer sequences of up to 64 steps and set step lengths from fast 1/64 notes to extended 8-bar movements. This flexible layout is ideal for exploring complex grooves or making quick adjustments mid-performance.

Sound design using FM layers and samples

Each of the 8 pads gives you a complete sound design engine. You can combine two FM oscillators with a WAV sample to build your sound. Filters, envelopes, a resonator and a snap generator help shape the tone further. Razzmatazz includes four different types of distortion for custom drive settings. You also get bit crushing and rate crushing to add more texture and character. This setup works well for everything from synthetic kits to more natural sampled percussion.

Ready-to-use presets and full sampling support

To get you started, Razzmatazz comes with 120 preset kits and 112 WAV files from professional sound designers. These cover a wide mix of styles including techno, dub, rock, IDM and soul. You can record your own samples using the line input, with up to 30 seconds of sample time per WAV. WAVs can also be loaded from a microSD card. Internal resampling lets you quickly apply effects and reprocess sounds, making it easy to develop new tones from existing material. You can use looping clips or slice WAVs across pads for creative sequencing.

Compact and ready for any setup

The rugged and portable design of Razzmatazz means it can easily fit into any studio, backpack or stage rig. It runs on USB-C power and offers mini TRS MIDI in and out, plus clock input for sync with other gear. You can use MIDI controllers to trigger pads or automate parameters, and MIDI mappings are easy to customise. The two knobs and four buttons give quick access to key functions, while the 2-inch touchscreen provides a responsive interface for editing. With 24-bit audio resolution and 48kHz sample rate, it delivers high-quality sound in a compact frame.
