Tiptop audio have put their years of experience into creating new Eurorack modules that are sure to find a place in your modular setup. Introducing the ZVERB ECHOZ and the Z5000. All the modules pack powerful stereo effects into a compact 8 HP module. Small enough to find space in every modular setup, the new modules feature intuitive controls, easily accessible on the modern front panel. Each module features three different buttons which provide access to 24 effects per module. These combine a range of new effects with some classics from Tiptop’s extensive library. An internal analog clock drives the DSP chip to ensure these digital effects benefit from the analog warmth sought after by audio enthusiasts. Combining the best of analog and digital, Tiptop effects have never been so accessible.
The Z5000 multi-effect
Way back in 2008, Tiptop Audio released the original Z5000, the world’s first Eurorack DSP effects module. A pioneer in bringing voltage controlled digital effects to Eurorack, the Z5000 was eventually replaced by the Z-DSP open source platform. Now, with over a decade’s knowledge in developing audio effects for Eurorack signals, the Z5000 is back.
The best of analog and digital combined
The Z5000 is a compact, 8 HP multi effect with voltage-controlled parameters and a VC analog clock generator driving the DSP chip. This ensures the advantages of analog sound are retained with the module. Included with the Z5000 are 24 of Tiptop’s best reverbs, delays, modulation, harmonization and pitch modulated effects. A number of these effects are combined in the Z5000’s programmes in series or parallel. These create an extensive library of modulation options that represent studio techniques both new and old. All of which allow for experimentation using the intuitive controls of the Z5000.
