Shape frequencies with hands-on control
At its core, this unit features ten analogue bandpass filters covering a wide frequency range, from low bass through to high treble. Each band has its own slider, so you can boost or reduce specific frequencies with clear visual feedback.
The centre-detent design makes it easy to return to a flat response when needed. In filterbank mode, both stereo channels are linked, though you can offset them using the spread control for wider imaging. This direct approach helps you quickly sculpt sounds, refine mixes or reshape external audio sources without slowing down your workflow.
Push sounds further with resonance control
The resonance section introduces feedback that can dramatically change how each band behaves. You can configure which filters feed back into the signal path, creating anything from subtle emphasis to intense self-oscillation.
At higher settings, the unit can generate tones on its own, opening up creative options similar to no-input mixing. The resonance control also works as an attenuverter, letting you dial in positive or inverted feedback for more variation. This makes it suitable for both controlled enhancement and more experimental sound design approaches.
Explore multiple processing modes
Beyond standard filterbank operation, several modes expand what the unit can do. Filter mode reshapes the bands into low-pass high-pass band-pass or notch-style responses, giving you familiar filtering behaviour with a different character. Clocked modulation introduces tempo-based movement, stepping through bands using internal or MIDI clock.
Dynamic EQ mode reacts to incoming audio, automatically adjusting frequencies based on the signal. Together, these modes allow you to move from static shaping to evolving textures, making the unit adaptable across mixing sound design and performance tasks.
Integrate easily into your setup
Designed for modern workflows, the Resonant Filterbank includes balanced stereo inputs and outputs, MIDI connectivity and USB for updates and preset management. You can control parameters via MIDI CC, sync modulation to external clock or automate changes within a DAW.
The unit also stores up to 128 snapshots, so you can save complex settings and recall them instantly. A configurable footswitch input adds hands-free control for live use. Combined with its compact desktop format, it fits neatly into studio rigs while staying practical for performance setups.
