The Pioneer XDJ-1000 player features a 7 inch full colour LCD touch screen that gives DJs instinctive control and enables ultimate creativity. The intuitive GUI is divided into three sections: Browse, Play and Perform allowing the DJ to effortlessly see and access all the features they need without the screen being overcrowded.

Browsing your catalogue has never been faster or easier thanks to the Qwerty keyboard and keyword search function. Simply tap the Browse tab to bring up the keyboard and search for keywords then scroll using the touch screen or large rotary dial. Options for how tracks are displayed are also available: list, artwork or custom view.

The XDJ-1000 inherits many features from the club-standard CDJ-2000NXS, including Pro DJ Link which allows DJs to share one source with up to four decks via LAN cable. New beat jump and loop move functions allow users to move forwards or backwards 1, 2 or 4 beats from the current playback position or within a loop. Auto loops and cues can be instantly triggered from points in the track prepared in reckordbox and the quantize function uses the track's beat grid to ensure loops and cues are set and triggered in time with the music.

Rekordbox integration allows DJs to analyse their tracks and display information such as wave displays, beat countdowns, phase meters and key analysis indicators on the XDJ-1000's large touch screen display.

In addition to USB keys, DJs can load rekordbox-ready music from PCs, laptops and smartphones using a Wi-Fi or USB connection. Device connected via USB will even be charged during performance.

• Beat Countdown: DJs can use rekordbox to mark key points on a track, and the XDJ-1000 will count down to them from up to 64 bars away
• Phase Meter: shows the position of the beat in the bar, enabling DJs to compare the phase of each player with the master deck at a glance
• Key Analysis Indicator: a ''Traffic Light'' system in the browser shows which rekordbox tracks are in a compatible musical key with the master deck for harmonized mixes every time
• My Settings Function: users can choose their personal preferences in rekordbox and automatically download them to the XDJ-1000. Also allows colour coded lighting for playlists
