With its 6 2-inch drivers aligned in a segmented, circular-arc, HF array, and a 10-inch woofer, the CDL12P delivers clear, precise, and powerful sound, making it perfect for both small and large venues.

The CDL12P's HF Driver Array consists of 2-inch cones that boast a fast transient response, ensuring accurate reproduction of high and mid-range frequencies. To further enhance the clarity of the audio, the internal crossover is set at 420 Hz, guaranteeing seamless audio reproduction without any gaps in the heart of the musical range. This design choice also reduces comb filtering between the 10-inch bass drivers in the array, resulting in a smooth and refined low-mid response.

The CDL18s subwoofer from PreSonus features an innovative port configuration that maximizes efficiency and delivers a big bass sound from a compact cabinet. With four triangle-shaped ports strategically placed in the corners, the CDL18s take advantage of the side walls to build out the ports, effectively elongating them and allowing for the movement of more air in a smaller enclosure.

This unique porting design not only avoids port chuffing but also minimizes baffle reflections, resulting in better phase coherence. The CDL18s is equipped with a custom 18-inch low-frequency transducer with a 4-inch voice coil that can handle 800W and travel 7 mm before over-excursion. Every aspect of the CDL18s has been carefully designed to ensure it packs a serious punch into its compact footprint.

Onboard power amp and advanced controls

The CDL18s comes with an integrated PDA-1000, a robust 1,000W Class D power amplifier with onboard DSP. This powerful amplifier provides the necessary drive for the subwoofer, ensuring optimal performance. For more advanced applications, the CDL18s can be connected to a standard LAN network and remotely controlled using the Worx Control software for macOS and Windows.

This allows for precise control over compression, limiting, and delay, with the ability to group and manage speakers individually or together. Performance monitoring indicators also enable remote monitoring of temperature and signal levels.
