Key Features
The Analogue Systems RS-140 MIDI to CV Converter converts MIDI messages into control voltages. The RS-140 provides you with 10 voltage outputs that allow you to control every aspect of modular analog synth sound generation, giving you plenty of possibilities to control your modular system with MIDI. The Analogue Systems RS-140 offers a simple interface and easy-to-use design, providing you with a backlit display, 4 buttons and a clutter free front panel. The RS-140 also features an internal LFO with multiple waveforms, MIDI sync, and MIDI-controlled gain. Additionally, the RS-140 provides 64 user memories, allowing you to save and quickly recall specialised setups for specific patches.

The RS-140 offers 5 controller outputs that allow you to select from 131 options for each controller source. You can use the menu to select between the different options. These options are the 128 MIDI CCs, plus velocity, aftertouch, the pitch wheel, and the internal LFO. When you choose a MIDI CC, the module will tell you what it's for, which helps to avoid confusion when using multiple MIDI controllers in your setup.
The RS-140 features 3 trigger outputs that can be configured as conventional triggers, s-triggers, and gates. This allows you to use the RS-140 with s-trig synthesizers such as the Minimoog. You can also select multi-triggering or single-triggering depending on the result you are trying to achieve. When multi-triggering is selected, an output will be generated every time a MIDI NOTE ON command is received. If this is disabled, a signal will only be generated when no previous notes are still held.
The RS-140 also features an internal LFO that offers 6 waveforms, MIDI sync, and MIDI-controlled gain. You can change the LFO frequency and maximum gain as well to create varying LFOs.
