Key Features
The Analogue Systems RS-310 Reverb and Chorus Module is a complex BBD (bucket brigade device) effects module capable of producing flanger, chorus, and short echo/reverb effects. Thanks to the new dual bus concept, this circuit is fully compatible to Doepfer's eurorack standard. This version features 2 power connectors, meaning it can now directly connect to an Analogue Systems modular system or Doepfer modular system, so no adapters are needed. The RS-310 module is an analogue delay line with variable feedback. It offers delay time, resonance, and mix control, allowing you to create a range of FX sounds. Additionally, the delay time and feedback can also be increased and extended using CVs. Combine this effects module with your modular system to widen your sound pallet.

The dual bus version of the RS-310 features 2 power connectors. This allows it to connect directly either to an Analogue Systems modular system, or a Doepfer modular system. Adapters are no longer necessary. Because of the different position of mounting holes, there will be a gap of 0.5HP (2.5)mm when mounting an Analogue Systems module next to a eurorack module. Gaps can be covered by 1.5HP wide blank panels from Doepfer.
The RS-310 incorporates 6 unrelated 'taps' at quasi random delay points and with different output levels, meaning an impulse applied to the input will result in at least 6 discrete outputs in addition to the 'dry' signal. When in normal use, the RS-310's master clock runs at speeds over 10kHz. A low-pass filter ensures that clock noise is not presented to the output. However, if you want to extend the delay time you can, by using CVs. The clock will then stray down into audible frequencies. The delay time knob allows you to adjust the amount of delay between approximately 2.5ms to 150ms. If a CV is applied in the range of +/-10V to the CV-IN FIXED input, it will allow you to modify it. The delay time can also be modified when applying a CV into the CV-IN VARY input. The amount can then be controlled using the LEVEL control.
At minimum resonance the module has no feedback at all. Once you feed a simple click into the RS-310, it will generate a single set of delays. When you start to increase the resonance, more of the output will be fed back to the input so that a succession of clicks become audible. At somewhere between 12 o'clock, the delayed signals will not fade away. This is great for creating long interesting FX and textures.
