The Pure 2 features a range of premium-quality components and features resulting in mastering-grade audio quality and sonic transparency. The converter runs on 24-bit/192kHz and the master clock features Antelope's world-class AFC (Acoustically Focused Clocking) technology to deliver the exceptional audio quality found in this converter. Additionally, the pristine analog circuitry and proprietary multi-stage linear power supply results in unparalleled digital clarity with all the advantages of the natural analog sound. The main D/A conversion has a dual-DAC architecture, enhancing the signal-to-noise ratio and vastly improving stereo imaging

Connectivity Support

As well as being a world-class AD/DA Converter, the Pure2 also features an expansive range of connectivity options. Several Word Clock outputs have been incorporated for versatile clock connectivity. As well as sync connectivity options the Pure2 also features inputs for: Atomic Clock, SPDIF, TOSLINK, AES, Analog (ADC) on Combo XLR and USB connectivity. As well as the standard inputs the Pure2 features a high-end headphone amplifier with dedicated D/A converter for monitoring mixes. For optimal control you can also use the software control panel that comes included for use with Windows or Mac computers. The software lets you manage all the parameters and settings for your computer while the front panel gives you user-definable presets for added versatility

Master Clock

One of the most unique features of the Pure2 is the master clock. The master clock in this unit features Antelope's custom Acoustically Focused Clocking (AFC) technology. The master clock features 64-bit AFC jitter management and an oven-controlled crystal oscillator that helps to the keep the timing and sync of all digital devices stable. This is the same technology found in Antelope's flagship master clock - the Isochrone Trinity. Because of this, the Pure 2 can function as the master clock for your studio but it can also use the 10M Atomic Clock for increased stability.
