DISC Image Line Morphine

Morphine is an enhanced additive synth with a flexible design to create a vast array of unique sounds. Built around an architecture of harmonics, waveforms can be reduced down into a series of harmonic sine waves to produce subtractive synthesis sounds with square, saw and sine waves. The harmonic structure of Morphine also allows you to create harmonic snapshots to generate synthetic, resynthesized samples, enabling you to use Morphine as a sampler across the entire keyboard. With four independent voices, you can capture the complete spectrum of any audio sample and use it as a new instrument, complete with a full range of editing tools whilst maintaining the core sound and timbre of the original sound.

Offering a new take on additive synthesis, Morphine is designed with low CPU usage algorithms which maintain the warm sound of classic analog synths without sacrificing articulation. Complex 32-bit mathematics is at the core of Morphine with no internal sampling to avoid interpolation noises to further enhance the analog character. Powered by a 128-harmonics oscillator engine, the full frequency range is delivered in stunning clarity from powerful lows to articulate and detailed highs.
