The latest in the LSR series from JBL, refining the original design and adding a range of new features and enhancements. The 6-inch active bi-amplified design ensures optimal audio performance, with dedicated custom Class-D amplifiers providing 112W of power both the HF and LF range.
Comprised of a long-throw 6-inch woofer for a powerful, defined low-end the monitor is ready for action. The 1-inch Neodymium tweeter provides sparkling, detailed highs. Redesigned circuitry and application of the latest manufacturing principles results in improved sound performance, resulting in an immersive stereo field and a broad sweet. The accuracy and clarity it produces captures every nuance of your source audio.
It utilises the patented Image Control Waveguide from JBL, providing exceptional clarity and a wide, room-friendly sweet spot.
The result is a crisp, transparent sound that is ideal for mixing and mastering applications, giving you a true representation of your sound that will translate to other mediums.
One of the new features of the 306 MKII is the inclusion of Boundary EQ settings. This gives you the ability to further attenuate your unintended low end frequencies, which can occur when the monitor is placed on a desktop or near a wall.
This allows you to change the way the monitor responds for optimised audio performance, even in confined spaces. This is accompanied by a 3-position HF trim switch for adjusting the high-frequency response for added attenuation control. Being able to tune your monitor to your room is integral to getting that studio sound.
Building on the success of the original LSRs, JBL has retained the same stylish and sleek aesthetic, as well as ensuring maximum reliability. The 3-series monitors have to pass JBL's demanding Power Test.
It also boasts flexible connectivity, allowing you to use the monitors with audio interfaces and more. Balanced XLR and ¼-inch TRS inputs allow you to communicate with a wide range of equipment from interfaces to mixers and more.
The inputs also feature adjustable sensitivity, allowing you to select between +4dBu/-10dBV for optimised audio performance and signal integrity.
The AKG C214 Large Diaphragm Microphone is a highly versatile, premium-grade studio microphone. The C214 bases its design on higher-end microphones from AKG, primarily the C414 family. The C414 range is renowned for its exceptional attention to detail and it’s natural, sparkling sound. AKG have taken the same sonic characteristics that made the C414 range so sought after and put them into this highly affordable condenser microphone. At the heart of the microphone is a premium-grade, one-inch capsule with an integrated suspension for reducing mechanical noise. The cardioid polar pattern and high-end components ensure optimal accuracy and audio fidelity.
Combining years of expertise with high-end components results in the AKG C214. The wide frequency range and high SPL capabilities make it one of the most versatile microphones available. It is highly suited to recording vocals, guitars, drum overheads, room ambience and more. The combination of AKG’s Back-Plate technology and dual-capsule system result in sparkling highs and a defined low-end, capturing every nuance of your source audio. The microphone also features a switchable 20dB attenuation pad, allowing you to record louder sources without distortion. The integrated suspension that the capsule sits in, helps to reduce mechanical noise for optimised signal integrity. It also boasts a switchable bass-cut filter, allowing you to record close-up without any proximity effects.
As well as looking sleek, the AKG C214 is also great for both studio and stage applications; thanks to its robust exterior. The all-metal die-cast body features a shock and scratch-resistance finish, designed to withstand the rigors of extensive and prolonged use. The roadworthy design will fit in any studio space or live on stage, helping to bring out the nuances of your performance; whether it be as an ambient mic, drum overhead or used in closed-proximity. Additionally, the microphone comes complete with a H85 universal shock mount and a robust metal carrying case for storing and transporting your microphone, with maximum protection.
The included Ghost preamps are aptly named. They are so low noise you might not even notice they are there. The result? Immaculate sound time and time again. Such high quality preamps on such a small mixer almost have to be heard to be believed - but these are ghosts you should believe in.
EQ doesn't have to just be a corrective tool. Soundcraft’s Sapphyre Assymetric EQ helps to give your sound a musicality and character which other equalisers can't achieve. Give your mix the character it deserves. The Soundcraft Signature 12 MTK doesn't compromise by limiting the EQ to one or two channels either - you can add the classic British EQ to every single input.
Each of the three AUX buses is switchable from pre to post fader. Each input channel can be routed to the master out and the two available sub-groups. This gives you total control of your monitoring or external effects sends. There's no need to be limited to one monitor mix. Ensembles of any size will benefit from the flexibility of the Signature 12 MTK's routing.
The mixer also includes a wide variety of built-in Lexicon® studio-grade reverb, chorus, modulation and other effects and dbx® limiters on the input channels. Its onboard multi-track USB audio interface offers pristine ultra-low latency recording to your DAW of choice, and also allows you to insert any VST/AU/AAX/TDM/RTAS plug-ins on any input channel, effortlessly integrating studio plug-ins with live performances.
The console offers XLR and switchable Hi-Z inputs that enable guitars, basses and other instruments to be directly connected. Accompanying the console are free downloads of the Lexicon® MPX-L native plug-in and Ableton® Live 9 Lite.
As reference headphones, the K361-BT’s are packed with features that provide an accurate listening experience. To achieve detailed sound, the headphones utilise high-sensitivity, titanium-coated 50mm drivers and oxygen-free copper voice coils. These provides a wide and balanced frequency range that you can rely on to create accurate mixes. Thanks to the 15Hz to 28kHz frequency range, no detail will go unnoticed, ensuring a good mix on K361-BT’s transfers well to other listening devices.
Bluetooth offers freedom both in the studio and when listening in your spare time. The AKG K361-BTs feature Bluetooth 5.0 combined with advanced battery technology lasting up to 24 hours. This ensures you can manoeuvre around whilst listening without being restrained by wires. When sat close to the audio source, the headphones can operate through the included cable. The hybrid design is also ideal for referencing your mix, ensuring that audio edits translate well to both listening scenarios. For daily use, an integrated microphone can be used to enjoy hands free calls.
K361-BT headphones are designed to strictly match AKG’s reference response curve, an acoustic target refined over more than a decade of research. This demands an exceptionally high level of accuracy in professional audio applications. This result in a mix you can trust to translate well to other audio devices.
The over-ear, closed-back design of the K361-BTs is great for isolating audio when listening in noisy environments. The closed back design also helps minimise low frequency loss. The design also helps ensure comfort for long listening sessions, particularly useful in mixing situations. This is achieved using an adjustable headband for the perfect fit every time. Earcups can swivel 90 degrees for one ear monitoring, whilst the lightweight design helps prevent ear fatigue.
