-12V rail

The uZeus features a -12V rail that uses a switching regulator. This regulator needs to have a minimum load of 100mA (out of 500mA) at any given time. The uZeus has a preset factory configuration to self-consume this current. This setting can be disabled if you are powering more than four analog modules, giving you that 100mA to use for your modules instead of self-consumption. This can be easily done using the J7 header and jumper on the rear of the uZeus.

Compact design

The uZeus power supply module is a versatile and powerful unit. What's more impressive is that the features, functions, and power of the uZeus are all contained in an ultra-compact 4HP module. This small design makes it the smallest and most powerful power supply available for its size. Mixing linear and switching power technology, the uZeus has the ability to produce up to 2000mA at +12V, 500mA at -12V, and 170mA at +5V.
