Key Features
Zynaptiq Morph 2 is a unique production tool, offering the ability to morph two signals whilst maintaining the character of both. With this effect, Morph is capable of producing a diverse range of sonically intriguing effects, hybrid sounds, physically impossible instruments, far-out creature voices, effects likened to a talkbox and much more.
Morph 2 features a selection of detailed and powerful parameters for discovering and sculpting your new sonically morphed sound. The sonic sculpting capabilities of Morph ensure that you retain all the nuanced sonic qualities of your inputs in the output mix.
Morph is capable of taking a large variety of different and distinctive sounds to produce its hybrid. Create creature voices by combining speech with other sounds, apply the features of a drum loop to a sustained pad, transition from one ambience or sound effect to another with unusual intermediate stages or create hybrid rhythms or instruments. Morph is a highly flexible tool that will stand up to any challenge you present it with when producing sonically complex hybrid sounds.

Essentially, Morph 2's complex mathematics can be summarised in analogy; Morph creates wire-frame models for the two inputs in real-time and then shapes one model to become the other, transforming one sound into the other structurally.
The Zynaptiq Morph 2's most prominent and unusual feature is its ability to take two signals and generate a unique and nuanced sound or transition that has the characteristics of both. Morph computes two separate morphing transitions from your A and B signals simultaneously; meaning that A to B produces one transition and B to A produces another distinct transition. Morph 2 then lets you control your morphing with the built-in XY pad. Moving vertically across the Y-axis creates 'steps' between signals while moving left or right determines which signal is more prominent. All of Morph's transitions are processed in real-time so you can experiment and discover all of the extraordinary sounds developed between your A and B signal with a significant responsive immediacy.
Morph 2 features three completely distinct morphing algorithms two of which have additional low-latency versions with their own character for a total of five powerful sound hybridising algorithms. The classic, interweave, tight, classic (Low latency) and interweave (Low latency) each provide powerful morphing processes, and effectively multiply Morph's productive power by five.
Additionally, Morph 2 comes with a selection of precise and powerful sonic sculpting parameters. Amplitude sensitivity, complexity and formant shift parameters provide a level of hands-on precision in the production of Morph's nuanced sounds, and an integrated reverb unit injects Morph with space, width and depth.
Morph 2's formant filter sounds good whether you use it on voice, drums, instruments or sound effects. The formant filter produces a natural and focused quality over your morphed sound and preserves all of your sound's detail without introducing granular or "spectral blurring" artefacts.
