Full Description

With the SC307, one of the woofer is delivering sound only up to 300Hz - functioning as a 'bass woofer' while the other woofer provides a fuller range up to the 2800Hz crossover frequency as a bass-midrange driver. The proprietary AMT RS2 tweeter utilises a bigger front plate and a bigger internal magnet, resulting in greater efficiency and crisp, detailed sound.

SilverCone Woofers

Both of the 6.5'' woofers are driven by either a 1'' or 1.5'' voice coil depending on the model, the result is a very tight and dynamic bass response along with a greater linear excursion when compared to most similar-sized speakers.

In order to minimise distortion further, Eve Audio added copper caps onto the woofer's magnet system. These caps help the driver to maintain a symmetrical magnetic field in which the voice coil is positioned, resulting in a very low harmonic distortion level and higher overall transparency, even at higher sound pressure levels.

To complete these woofers, the honeycomb-structured diaphragms are coated with glass fiber, helping to achieve the perfect balance of rigidity and low resonances for the concise sound reproduction - whilst also providing the SilverCone with it's distinctive look.

Simplified but Precise DSP Control

Eve Audio have equipped the SC307 with precise control over several filter sections, as well as accurate volume control and phase settings. The front control panel provides you with the ability to adjust these settings via the unique high precision knob. For incredible reliability, the PWM amplifiers are connected directly to the DSP section of these monitors and is supported with a high quality 192kHz/24bit A/D converter, which is more than capable of delivering pristine signals.

The front panel features a LED that clearly indicates the corresponding status of adjustment - which can be dimmed, if needed. All the settings for volume or room adaption can be blocked with the DIP switch on the rear of the monitor, helping to avoid misuse or operating errors an random changes of your settings.
