Key Features
The Make Noise 0-CTRL is a patchable step sequencer and clock controller for your voltage controlled synthesizer system and rigs. The 0-CTRL is incredibly versatile. Make Noise ensured that it follows Eurorack conventions in terms of inputs and outputs. This allows you to also patch the device with your modular system or to a second desktop synth with patching capabilities.

You'll notice that every jack on the 0-CTRL is incredibly versatile. You'll be able to use them as either an input or an output. Patching jacks is as simple as placing one end of the cable into one input and then placing the other into an output. For an external device to be controlled you'll need to utilise at least two cables between it and the 0-CTRL.
If you patch an input into another input then this will not work. Although not recommended, patching an output into another output can create weird and wonderful effects. However, there are some exceptions. Inside the box you'll find two stacking patch cables. These cables feature a plug and a jack, allowing you to patch a second cable to extend your connection to three or four jacks.
For broad stroke control over the 0-CTRL's sequence, adjust the three touch plates at the bottom of the module. Each of the pitch, strength and time channels are each powered by a row of eight buttons that correspond with the eight steps. These rows are placed in boxes to match that of their respective output jacks. These channels allow you to control the sequence of each step, without the need for patching in any cables.
Similar to many iconic sequencers, the 0-CTRL is also 100 percent analog. This means that it has no quantisation on the outputs of each CV. Although they can be used to manipulate the pitch of your oscillators, there is no real limit to the precision they have. Make Noise want you to focus and use your ears to adjust this to find the ideal control voltage.
