The Slate FG-X Mastering Plugin is an all-in-one mastering plug-in made from multiple modules for complete control over your dynamics processing. This award-winning mastering plug-in is was built from the ground to allow you to create fatter, louder and punchier masters whilst retaining all the natural dynamics of your mix, with zero distortion. The first module is FG-Comp, a world-class, transparent compressor module capable of taming the dynamics of your signal before being processed by the built-in limiter. The heart of FG-X is the FG-Level limiting module, a loudness enhancer module built with Intelligent Transient Preservation technology (ITP).

The ITP processing intelligently looks ahead in your mix to optimise a custom saturation curve based on the loudness peaks to preserve the natural character and tonality of your track whilst making your signal competitively loud. Built to compete with any hardware mastering equipment, FG-X encompasses a Dynamic Perception meter, allowing you to simulate dynamics within your mix, ideal for helping to preserve the loudness and dynamics of your incoming signal.

Filled with enhanced controls, FG-X includes independent LoPunch and Detail dials, allowing you to tailor the response of the low and high-end transient information in your signal. Perfect for genre-specific compositions, dialling the LoPunch for electronic music, hip-hop or house styles can reintroduce punchy low-end whilst maintaining the loudness of your track.
